Book study - Lunch & Learn Gathering
Is it enough to just talk about Jesus or tell people, "God has a wonderful plan for your life" or that "Jesus is waiting to meet all their needs" when witnessing? What is the true and complete gospel and why should we present it?
This study examines what the cross meant in the time of the early church, why God chose the people he did to preach this treasure, why the gospel is so hard to believe and more. The purpose is to solidify exactly what the gospel is in our minds and to give us courage in our hearts when we share it with those who desperately need to hear it.
Book: Hard to believe Author: Dr John MacArthur
We will be working with one chapter per month. A set of study questions for each session. Will be available a month in advance. The first set of questions is located in the back table of the sanctuary. East participant is encouraged to select 7 to 10 questions to answer during the month before the next lunch and learn. The first lunch and learn will meet on Tuesday October 20 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. here at the church. The remainder of the study will begin in January past the holidays.
