The elders of CBC are aware that there is much conflicting information based on good and on adulterated research regarding the efficacy of masks, vaccines, and therapeutics, depending on the sources of the information. They know that no matter what is decided about precautions, some members (and visitors) would likely disagree. They have decided that within the congregation, unity for the cause of Christ, is more important than total agreement on the issues surrounding this illness.
It is the hope of the leadership that Christians will focus on the primary issue each Sunday --
the worship of God as He has commanded us to do.
Masks are optional. If someone is wearing a mask, please implement social distancing when talking with a mask-wearer. Each person has his or her unique medical history and issues, as wells as unique risk tolerance and risk aversion thresholds. We encourage understanding and loving respect in this area.
Please stay home if you have a cold, COVID variant , or the 'flu. Basically if you feel you are coming down with something or are sick, it is best to stay home. If necessary, contact your health care provider for advice.
