Day Camp 2010

We are pleased to announce our two Day Camps for this year.  This is the 21st year of this event.  Day Camp has an excellent reputation in our community.  Our staff is made up of adults and youth from visiting and local churches.  We maintain a low level leader/camper ration of approximately 1 leader to 3 campers.

This year, the camp will be held in one location for one week, and another location for the second week.

July 12 - 16:  Smithfield Baptist Church, 100 Wainwright Dr., Smithfield, VA

August 2 - 6:  Carrollton Baptist Church, 14007 Carrollton Blvd., Carrollton, VA

Children in Kindergarten (5 year olds who have attended pre-school may be allowed) through Grade 6 (just completed) can register for Day Camp

There will be crafts, music, recreation (including swimming), and lessons on character, manners, history, geography, and life applications from the Bible.  Each camper will receive a theme T-shirt!  Refreshments are provided.

We ask a $25 donation for each camper per week to cover costs, including insurance.  We will NOT turn away any camper for lack of funds.  Camperships are available to families who need help with funds.  Contact 357-4456 Monday-Friday 8 - 5 for more info.  After hours, call 357-5218.  If there is no answer, keep trying until 10:30 p.m. or leave a message.
